Fall Frenzy!

Fall Frenzy 2007 is here!

Of all the retreats that we do, I think this one might be my favorite because it is great to just get away from school (or work, for me) for a weekend and spend time with friends, having all kinds of fun and learning about God together.

If you are a new 6th grader or haven’t been to Fall Frenzy before, it is awesome: we play games together (including Goldrush, maybe the best game ever), throw straw at one another on a hayride, study and talk about the Bible in small groups, eat S’mores around a campfire, and do tons of other stuff.

If you don’t believe me, ask a leader or someone else who has been on this trip before! It’s coming up quickly, October 6 and 7, so sign up (on this website, if you’d like) soon!

What’s the Racket?

Since this website is brand new (and awesome, don’t you think?), I thought it would be a good idea to explain some of the things that are on it. The fact that you are even reading this means that you were interested enough to check out the site, which is great.

As I’m sure you already know, there are all kinds of fun things for you to do here, and I’ll let you explore, but you can check out pictures from our last event, submit ideas for service projects, invite a friend on a trip, or even ask me a question you’ve been thinking about.

You can also check out the Racket, which is a place where I’ll post some thoughts on a relatively frequent basis: it might be a poll to get your opinion on something, a reflection on spiritual things, a music review or just a random idea. And then, the really cool part is that you can make follow-up comments to what I write, and let me know what you think.

I always love to hear about what you guys are thinking, so don’t be bashful!
