In case you missed it this past tuesday was our last hurrah for the 8th graders. We wished them well, gave them a beautiful toast, made them cry, passed out Kleenex, laughed. . . . rinse wash repeat (really a rolly-coaster of emotions - just kidding). It was actually a really fun night and we’re super excited to see them get involved with highschool at Student Impact.
So what does that mean next? Well it means a few things. First if you’re about to finish up 8th grade there are some great opportunities to get involved and meet all the highschool kids. June 3rd will be the official 8th grade invite to Student Impact at the Warehouse. It’s just like Club JV just on Thursday nights. There’s also a rafting retreat called the Freshman are Rafting Trip, hands down one of the best retreats you will EVER go on. Definitely check that out - You can do that here. We’re gonna miss the 8th Graders a TON - thanks so much for a few great years! Stay in touch - i’ll miss you guys.

Serving on Saturday is this coming saturday (The 22nd). We’ll be meeting at the warehouse at 10:00am and heading out to a few area homes to help do some yard work and gardening for a couple of hours. We’ll be back to the warehouse at 1:00pm. Don’t worry about lunch, we’ll take care of that. Bring some gardening gloves and get ready for a good time.

The new calendars have been made up and the summer is all but planned out. Here’s whats coming up soon. this sunday I won’t be around so U-Turn and Student Body are combined. Some of you are rejoicing and some are sad - but i’ll be back soon don’t worry.
This coming tuesday we won’t have Club JV as usual. The pastor’s conference is at parkside so i have to be there during the evening. You all are more than welcome to come to the evening session with your parents - i’m sure you’ll learn a lot! The evening session starts at 7 at Parkside - so if you wanna come with a parent and bring a notepad. If not get together with some friends and enjoy the evening. Hope you guys are all having a great week.
