Fall Frenzy is coming this weekend, September 27 and 28. We’ve closed the online registration, but there are still some spots available if you’d like to go! If you want to sign up, call Nichole at the church office (440.708.2117) and we’ll reserve a spot for you!
The Cedar Point trip for tomorrow (9/13) is canceled. The weather forecast for Sandusky calls for rain all day, which means that a lot of the rides will probably be closed, and the few that are open wouldn’t be that fun, as you’d just get pelted by rain drops. Sorry for the disappointment this will cause. The trip will not be rescheduled this year so you can look forward to Sept 2010 2009 (thanks Marty!).
What do Latenight Dodgeball, Steal the Bacon, and one famous night game have in common? That’s right, we do all 3 (and tons more) at Fall Frenzy! For those of you haven’t been before, Fall Frenzy is our annual fall retreat at Camp Burton and is taking place this year the weekend of September 27th and 28th. We’ll leave from the Warehouse at 8:30am on Saturday morning and then return at 4pm on Sunday afternoon, but in between, we’ll be climbing on ropes courses and a climbing wall, playing basketball and volleyball, taking hayrides around the camp, and also studying the Bible together to deepen our relationship with Christ. This year’s theme will be “1 Thing” and the guest speaker will be a former Parkside youth pastor that you might know (and love), Bing Nieh.

Got the “I just started school again” blues? Then join us this Tuesday (8/26) as we take Club JV “on the road” to Solon Park for a cookout! It will go from 7pm - 9pm, and you can meet us as at the pavilion right next to the volleyball courts. There will be hamburgers and hot-dogs and lots of fun games, so you don’t want to miss it! Please bring $5 to help pay for food and as many friends as you can!
Just a quick reminder that we will not be having Club JV tonight due to renovations to the Warehouse. Sad, I know, but we’ll be on the road next week at Solon Park for a cookout!
