It’s that time of year again! time for Mohican Madness. For a lot of people this is the very first retreat that they go on with Parkside You as middle school students. We head to Mohican State Park for two days of good times. We’ll huck it over there on a bus and then spend two days camping, roasting s’mores, going on a canoe trip (some people don’t always stay in the canoe for the whole time), some mini-golf, go-carts, and all sorts of other stuff. If you’re new and want to meet some of the other students and leaders this is a great time to do it. You can find the signup form HERE. It’s coming up soon - August 20th-21st so make sure to get your spot reserved!

Hey everyone - Next Tuesday is our trip to the water park. This year we are headed to Wildwater Kingdom which is in aurora Ohio. We’ll be meeting at the water park at 11:00am and hang out till 5:00pm. Here’s what you need to do to come along. Print off a form which you can do –> HERE, Bring money for the water park and for lunch money, and come ready to have a great time. Bring friends along with because it’s going to be a great time! Also, just a reminder for you - since we’re spending the day at the water park we won’t have Club JV the evening of the 19th.

Every year about a thousand pastors come to Parkside for a conference. Because of that we won’t be having Club JV. So here’s a great opportunity to get together with some friends and chill on your own. If you want you’re welcome to come to the pastor’s conference and visit an evening session to see what it’s all about. Just so you know what it looks like it’ll be about an hour and a half or so. A man called John Dickson from Australia (so he has a cool accent) will be talking about the Church and Pastors and what a Pastors job is. Come if you like I know a few leaders will be there to listen to John Dickson’s talk.
Looking forward to seeing those that come!

Hey All,
This Tuesday (April 11th) at Club JV I’ve invited the parents to come along. If you’re curious what that means it’ll look a little like this: We’ll spend the first part of the night like we normally would talking, hanging out, and playing some games, then we’ll do a few activities as a group including worship and a game or two. Then I’ll take all the parents with me over to the Loft side of the warehouse and we’ll spend some time talking while the students are taught from the Bible by Chris Beals. It should be a great night. If you’re a parent and are wondering what exactly we’ll be talking about it will be a time that is hopefully encouraging and challenging as we think about partnering together in student ministry and the upcoming summer. So we’ll see you there: Tuesday 7:00-9:00pm.

And this year my two favorite teams the Buckeyes of The Ohio State University, and Those Blue Devils of Duke are both looking to take home the Title - What’s in it for you? One more way you can score points for your team! As long as it’s cool with your parents sign up for a bracket HERE!. The password to enter is “warehouse“.
