Hey Happy Thanksgiving. Because it’s thanksgiving week we won’t be having Club JV but we hope that you’ll have a great night tonight and all week with your family and friends. Have a great thanksgiving, see you next Tuesday. Don’t forget to thank God for all that he’s done for us and all he’s given to us.
November 16
Hey this Saturday at 8am we’re meeting at the warehouse to head out and hand out the thanksgiving boxes that you guys have been putting together over the past few weeks. We meet at 8 and then head to Scranton Road Bible Church in downtown Cleveland to give out the boxes to people in need that live in Cleveland. So make sure you talk to your small group leader and plan on coming. Don’t forget to bring $5 for lunch because we’ll be stopping at McDonald’s (the classy one that has an upstairs AND a downstairs) on the way home.
Don’t forget to come to Club JV on Tuesday!

Tomorrow is an important day it’s See You At The Pole - it’s a day when you have a unique opportunity to stand up for what you believe and to pray with other Christians at your school. So. . . GO to your school flagpole tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23, at 7 a.m., and PRAY for your friends, family, school, community and the world. It might take a little courage and a lot of prayer but it’s a great example to your fellow students.
I’m going to make my way out to a few schools to hang out and pray with you guys. I look forward to seeing you there!

As of 4pm on Friday (9/18), the registration for Cedar Point is officially closed. As such, we won’t be able to accept any more registrations (including walk-up registrations on Saturday) from this point on. Thanks for your understanding!

In a rapidly changing world, it can be difficult for parents to keep pace with all the technology that their students are being exposed to and how to best guide them towards making wise decisions with it. Realizing this, Parkside Youth has asked Tim Challies, a noted Christian author and blogger (www.challies.com), to address parents of middle school and high school students on the world we live in and what it means for our families. Please join us this Wednesday (Sept. 16) in the Commons of Parkside Church (7100 Pettibone Rd., Chagrin Falls) as Tim discusses discipling and shepherding our students in a technological world, and answers any questions parents might have!

Hey the high school and middle school are off to cedar point September 19th. It’s going to be an incredible day of fun. Wondering what it costs? Well here’s the deal: If you go by yourself it’s $30 a person. But. . . . if you take a friend from school, or your sports team, or your neighborhood (basically anyone that doesn’t go to club JV) then it’s $20 for you and $20 for your friend. We really want you to bring your friends who don’t normally get to come to club JV or U-turn.

Here’s what dan had to say about Cedar point when he went last week:
“Zero to 120mph in 3.8 seconds. 420 feet straight up. 420 feet straight down. Going so 
fast that you can’t move your head from the back of the seat. Tears coming out of your eyes because of the wind. Know what I’m talking about? Yep, the Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. I just went a couple weekends ago with some of my friends, rode in the front car, and it was incredible…(word to the wise: ride it in the day, because bugs tend to come out at night, and when bugs meet humans going 120mph….well, let’s just say your shirt needs a little stain treatment…haha)”
Sounds pretty sweet - also sounds like going for a car ride with Frank Komar (but wayyyy safer).
We’d love for you to come with us - it’s gonna be sweet.
