Service Opportunities

Throughout the course of the year there are several service opportunities which we encourage everyone to be involved in. Service is one of the distinctive marks of the believer. We desire to have students live out their faith and engage in opportunities which would be a blessing to the local community.

The Thanksgiving Box Project

In the middle of November, we partner with Scranton Road Bible Church for the Thanksgiving Box Project. During the Saturday morning each of our adult leaders takes a group of students and delivers several Thanksgiving boxes which include the necessities for a Thanksgiving meal. These “boxes” are delivered to families in the urban Cleveland area who do not have the resources to celebrate a Thanksgiving meal. Upon delivery we pray with the family, invite them to visit the church, and try to bless them in any way possible. It always is a beneficial experience.

Serving on Saturday

On several Saturday mornings throughout the year, we venture to the Cleveland City Mission and lend them a hand in whatever area there is a need. In the past we have organized clothes for their store, re-organized their food stock room, and sorted through toiletry donations received from an annual donation drive.
